Shihabun Shakib

I'm a self-taught engineer from Chattogram, Bangladesh. For the past five years I've built recruitment software: the CRM and applicant-tracking tools agencies use to find, track and place people. Today I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Athena CRM in London, working remotely.

Most of my day is React and TypeScript, but I follow a feature wherever it goes: the API, the Chrome extension, the marketing site. I also review a large share of what the team ships.

Alongside work I study economics at East West University. Statistics has changed how I read data, and how much I trust my own assumptions.
